Production Meetings Summary - Week Beginning 13th October

This week was focused on the shot list, finishing the animatic and the storyboard and starting our album cover designs. We also had our make-up and hair tutorial.

Shot List

We started our shot list by going through our list of props and figuring out the shots that we wanted for each one. We then wrote down all the performance shots we wanted and any extra shots such as static shots of props.

Storyboard

Once we had the shot list we drew each individual shot on a post-it note. The different colours each represented a type of shot, the key is below. We lay these out on a piece of sugar paper, took photos and imported them onto the computer so we could use them in our animatic.

Album Cover

For our album cover we researched different album covers that we liked and made notes on why. Then we noted down the conventions and characteristics of all of the albums covers that we wanted to incorporate into our own. I have done an individual post on influential album covers.

Make-Up and Hair Tutorial

This week we had a meeting with Olivia, a past student who advised us on hair and make-up. She then demonstrated make-up on Gavin in order to show us how to do it.
