What is Selling Well

Current trends in popular music show that the UK have quite a varied taste with contrasting artists such as George Ezra and Iggy Azalea charting in the UK Top 40. However, The Official Chart Company's figures show that when it comes to actually buying music, Pop fans are still the most willing to spend their money. Over half of the artists in the top 10 biggest selling albums fall into the Pop Genre. The UK top 40 includes streaming figures so naturally the Charts and the Sales Figures will differ.
