Notes from our meeting

Core Audience:

As a group we decided that our core audience would be indie fans of all ages. We realised that by not specifying an age for our primary audience we would extend our appeal and give ourselves a wider reach. Our group is also part of the core audience so we felt it would be easier when marketing our Artist.

Secondary Audience:

We decided to be more specific with our secondary audience and target UK 16-24 year old males and females. Indie music is a popular genre among this age group and this is not gender specific; it is also listened to by 16-24 year olds who are not indie fans. Our band is British so that's why we made it UK specific.
